Iranian TV Report About Gaza 'Freedom Flotilla,' American Attorney Lamis Deek: The Age Of Israeli Impunity Has Ended; We Will Make Sure Every Israeli Soldier, Settler, Head Of State Pays For Every Crime Committed Against Palestinians Since 1948

In an April 28, 2024 Press TV (Iran) report about the Gaza "Freedom Flotilla" preparing to set sail from Turkey, American attorney Lamis Deek said: "The age of Israeli impunity has ended." She stated that a legal team is prepared to take Israel to task if Israeli forces board the flotilla when it nears the shores of Gaza. She added that in addition, the legal team will reach every single Israeli soldier, settler, and head of state and press charges against them in every court, bank, and "IRS place." Deek said that they are coordinating to find every single one of them and make them pay for every crime committed against the Palestinians since 1948. Ada Colau, the former mayor of Barcelona, said that the objective of the flotilla is to "break the criminal siege on Gaza." She said that people must act to stop the genocide. Colau asked the Spanish government to protect the flotilla should the Israeli government attack it, like it did the previous flotilla in 2010.

Ada Colau: "We are ready to sail and go to Gaza to break the siege. The objective is to break the siege, the criminal siege, and to bring humanitarian aid directly to the population of Gaza. For me it's an honor to participate in this action Freedom Flotilla that is organized by society, activist people, normal people. Because governments don't act, and we must act to stop the genocide and say ceasefire now.

"You know in Barcelona two years ago we suspended relations with Israel to denounce the apartheid but it's not enough because now we have a genocide in Gaza. And we have to act. It's not enough to talk about it. We have to act and stop this genocide. For me as a European citizen, it is a shame the role of Europe. It's a shame because the majority countries of Europe are silent or are directly complicit with Israel. So, people like me, I think the majority of the population and the people of Gaza have to know this. The majority population of Europe, of Spain, millions and millions of people, we don’t feel represented by our governments. And we want to act and detain the genocide right now. And it's a possibility that Israel attacks this ship because they did it in the past. But I think that we have to do it, and I hope and I'm asking the Spanish government and other governments in the world to protect this Flotilla."

Lamis Deek: "At this very moment we have prepared the entire briefings should the Israeli government choose to take the un-strategic step of executing their already criminal threats on the boat. We are prepared, not just as attorneys, but we are coordinating with several governments in the world to have them also file complaints against the Israeli government for their illegal boarding and interception of the Flotilla. The age of the Israeli impunity has ended. We will reach every single Israeli soldier, heads of state, every single Israeli settler. Not just in the international court, which will take years, but in every court, in every bank, and in every IRS place. We will make sure that you pay one way or another. And let me tell them, that we are coordinating to the minutia to find each and every one of them. For each and every crime, every article they have stolen from a Palestinian house. Every drop of blood that has been shed. Not just now in Gaza, but since 1948, we are counting it."
